LED BY RENOWNED ARTIST, BOSTON TEENS CREATE NEW ART WORK FOR THE INSTITUTE OF CONTEMPORARY ART/BOSTON
NEW WORK IS INSPIRED BY MUSIC AND THE ICA’S HIT EXHIBITION THE RECORD


WHAT:

Artist Dario Robleto, whose work is on view in the ICA’s critically-acclaimed exhibition The Record: Contemporary Art and Vinyl, works with 20 Boston teens to create a new art installation titled Battle of the Bands. Inspired by the works on view in The Record, this new installation also looks at the dynamic connections between music and visual art.

Robleto is at the ICA as part of the museum’s ongoing Artist Encounter series, a program where Boston youth discuss and make art with leading contemporary artists.

Media are invited to photograph Robleto working with Boston teens in advance of the public opening.
