ICA/BOSTON PRESENTS “VINYL FRIDAYS,” IN JUNE

Rock ‘n Roll Yard Sale and Collector Showcase Celebrate the Exhibition

The Record: Contemporary Art and Vinyl

 (BOSTON—May 18, 2011) The Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston (ICA) presents Vinyl Fridays, featuring a Rock ‘n Roll Yard Sale and Collectors’ Showcase, with a wide array of DJ’s spinning records every Friday. The events, which are organized by Chris and Jennifer Daltry of What Cheer Antiques in Providence, are free with museum admission, and take place on Fridays in June from 6–9 p.m. Patrons are encouraged to stroll through the ICA’s hit exhibition The Record: Contemporary Art and Vinyl, and then stay for these special programs in the museum’s Water Café (100 Northern Ave., Boston). About the ICA

An influential forum for multi-disciplinary arts, the Institute of Contemporary Art has been at the leading edge of art in Boston for 75 years. Like its iconic building on Boston's waterfront, the ICA offers new ways of engaging with the world around us.
