RYMAEC (Teacher Consortium)
The Boston Regional Youth Media Arts Educator Consortium (RYMAEC), funded and coordinated by the ICA, is a group of youth media arts educators who have been meeting regularly for 3 years to determine the best way to promote the field, for both the professionals and the students.
Responsibilities in this internship include but are not limited to:
• communicating with the advisory board
• expanding our reach to a wider group of youth media educators
• developing content for our 2 yearly gatherings
• coordinating the New Work/Mentor Grant Program for teens
• supporting an online moderated forum
• updating the www.rymaec.org website as necessary
This is an expanding initiative and we are looking for someone who is ready to help in the further development and refinement of this exciting project.
Schedule
Minimum of 8 hours
Wed, 10:30 – 6:30 PM (some flexibility)
Full Year preferred (October – May)
The person will receive direct mentoring from the program coordinator in any areas of particular interest, as well as in areas necessary for successful execution of duties. Evaluation for this internship will occur at the end of the program.
