Profile: Looking for someone interested in developing skills in event management & catering sales

Support Director of Catering

• Answer incoming calls with the ability to answer general questions about product, venue and availability
• Fill out Catering Inquiry Forms and provide solid leads to Catering Director
• Filter requests for Auctions and offer alternative options
• Attend client site visits and event meetings; document discussions and follow up needed
• Support Director of Catering with administrative tasks to include:
• Maintain Inquiry Log
• Maintain Event Checklist; update Catering Director with upcoming due dates
• Update General Calendar holds
• ReServe system entry of inquiries
• Banquet Event Orders
• Create signage for events and post appropriately
• Special Projects:
  • Research and maintain vendor list for specialty products, entertainment
    and unique event rentals
  • Benchmarking project for comparable properties in the Boston area
  • Assist Catering Director with creation of Wedding Packages

Event Support

• Assist in execution of Internal Catered Events including Drop Off / Pick Up requests
• Assist in execution of External Catered Events
