Teen Video Art Program Intern

 

Department: Fast Forward Program, Public Programs
Supervisor: Joe Douillette
Work Schedule: Minimum of 8 hours; Thurs. and/or Fri. 11:00 – 7:00 (some flexibility); Full year preferred
Number of Openings: 1
Compensation: Unpaid

Overview:
The ICA is looking for an intern who is interested in helping support and promote a teen video art program.

Responsibilities of this internship include but are not limited to:
• Development and production of the teens’ work
• Assistance with management of the equipment and the digital studio, a 13-station G5 Mac lab
• Assistance with open lab sessions and end-of-semester screenings
• Digital Video production and editing experience is a plus but not required
• Experience working with teenagers is preferred.

The intern will receive direct mentoring from the program coordinator in any areas of particular interest, as well as in areas necessary for successful execution of duties. Evaluation for this internship will occur at the end of the program.
