Web Store Assistant

Hours Per Week: 15+
Department:   Retail Operations/Museum Store
Reports to:   Retail Operations Manager, Victor Oliveira

Overview: The Web Store Intern for the ICA Retail Department will assist in the implementation and upkeep of the ICA internet store. This individual will be responsible for collecting, organizing and inputting product graphics and information into the ICA store web application.  The candidate will also assist with the development of the overall site design, development of page layout and content.

Core Responsibilities
• Communicate with vendors to procure graphics and item information
• Input graphic and item information
• Assist with database configuration
• Contribute to web store design and content development

The ideal candidate will possess some or all of the following skills
• Strong Writing/Editing Skills
• Web Design Knowledge
• Familiarity with a POS system
• Experience in retail merchandising
• Database Management Training
• Basic HTML Skills
• Working knowledge of graphic editing software
 
Qualifications:
• Effective Communication Skills
• Strong Organizational abilities
• Computer proficiency
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Interest in contemporary art & design.
