Ellen Gallagher: Watery Ecstatic

The exhibition followed the evolution of Gallagher’s work, known for her subtle but charged paintings that probe issues of race, identity, and abstraction, from her early paintings through her rapid rise to success in the mid-1990s, as one of the most acclaimed young artists in North America.

The exhibition traveled to the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, Australia.
