Pulse: Art, Healing and Transformation

The exhibition examined the idea of healing in contemporary art through processes of ritual, repetition, and movement, as well as through the creation of imaginary, metaphor and document that promote healing. The exhibition concentrated on the work of contemporary artists at work over the past decade and the present day.

Artists in the exhibition included Cai Guo-Qiang, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Tania Bruguera, David Medalla, Leonilson, Hannah Wilke, Richard Yarde, Wolfgang Laib, Irene and Christine Hohenbuchler, Ernesto Neto, Gretchen Bender, Bill T. Jones, Lygia Clark, and Joseph Beuys.
