4th Annual ICA/Vita Brevis Project:
Olafur Eliasson, The young land

August 4 - September 30, 2001

Eliasson brought the natural beauty of Iceland to Boston with the 22 tons of lava rock used to create this simple, yet bold waterborne work of art. The young land, moored on Fan Pier adjacent to the Northern Avenue Bridge, invited visitors to discover a rugged and unique floating park.
