2010 Boston Marathon®

If you have ever considered running a marathon but haven’t participated in one yet, now is the time to make it happen. Run for the ICA and be part of Team Fearless!

As one of the nation’s premier contemporary art museums, the ICA is always striving to be one step ahead, and thanks to our partnership with John Hancock Financial, the ICA has been given the opportunity to race, for the first time ever, in support of the museum’s mission, valuable programs, and resources.

We are very excited to be participating in the JH Marathon Challenge: Running Matters Program this year and look forward to fielding a great team. As a member of Team Fearless you will receive the following benefits:

• Participate in training through John Hancock’s Team that begins at the end of November and is managed by Fred Tressler and Bill Squires
• Monthly meetings and webinars through John Hancock to provide marathon tips and safety advice for runners
• Weekend Group training runs
• Pre-marathon pasta dinner
• Custom team hats and shirts
• Fundraising assistance
• Each runner will have a page on First Giving which makes the fundraising side of the run quite simple for runners and donors alike
• Invitations for you and your donors to special ICA Events
• Transportation to the starting line on race day
