Workshops

Professional development workshops at the ICA offer participants opportunities to learn new ways of introducing contemporary art to students, spend more time with works of art in the galleries, and connect with other educators representing a wide range of disciplines. Workshops are scheduled throughout the school year in the Bank of America Art Lab and the Paul and Phyllis Fireman Family Digital Studio.

Boston-area educators continue to amaze us with their innovative approaches to incorporating contemporary art into their curriculum. Before the school year begins, we’d like to offer teachers a head start. Join Education Director Monica
Garza as she introduces the upcoming season of exhibitions, answers questions, and illustrates how some multi-disciplinary educators have introduced contemporary art to their students. Non-art educators are encouraged to attend!
