PLAY DATE

Getting Out of Trouble: Francesca DiMattio’s Art Wall

Come and look closely at the dizzying compositions artist Francesca DiMattio weaves together on the Sandra and Gerald Fineberg Art Wall. The artist has described her process as “getting into trouble and getting out of it.” Next, step into the Bank of America Art Lab and try your hand at making your own perspective-defying assemblages using paint and mixed materials.

At 1 pm, children's book author/artist Mary Newell DePalma will give an interactive presentation on the creative process and thinking through making art works. DePalma will be available to sign books after the presentation. Space is limited; free tickets will be available first-come, first-served in the lobby on the day of the event.
