Children's Film Festival
   

Bring the family for this special day devoted to family films. Don’t miss the keynote address by New England’s own “Huey” of Films by Huey; view selections created by children, teens, and professional filmmakers alike; learn about the filmmaking process through demonstrations and hands-on activities; and join us for the exclusive preview screening of Disney's The Secret World of Arrietty. Are you ready for more film family fun? Create your own animation device led by local artist Renato Riccioni!.

JANUARY 28 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

All of today’s activities are best suited for ages 6+ with adults.
The film, The Secret World of Arrietty--rated G--is recommended for all ages.


Gallery Viewing and Mediatheque Visit
10 am–5 pm

Short Film Program
11:15 am, Noon, and 2 pm
Each screening is 30 min.
Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater
Each program features live action, animated, and stop-motion films, including works made by children.

Key Note Address: Huey of Films by Huey

A fun and educational discussion by New England's own Huey from FIlms by Huey.

The Secret World of Arrietty

Exclusive preview screening of Disney's new film--based on the award-winning novel, The Borrowers--from Japan's famed Studio Ghibli. Free tickets available on January 28 beginning at 10 am (one per person) on a first-come, first-served basis. See a family programs staff member or volunteer in the State Street Corporation Lobby.
