Play Date: Tap Lab
Start the day with outdoor sketching activities, enjoy your own lunch on the grandstand, then join us indoors for gallery visits followed by a live, interactive, and hilarious performance by David Parker‘s Tap Lab. Featuring David Parker and The Bang Group, along with youth dancers from Boston and the Greater Boston area, this performance is co-presented with Summer Stages Dance at Concord Academy.

Try cutting, collage, drawing and design using images of paintings. Reimagine and “reconstruct” your own artworks and frame both pieces side by side.
Lobby Art Making: Patterns and Pinwheels

Look for patterns in works by Barry McGee in our galleries. Draw your own patterns and designs then create your own pinwheel, following steps we’ve set up for adults and children together.
