The 49th Ann Arbor Film Festival
“At the forefront of experimental and avant-garde programming” (Florence Almozini, Director of Programming, BAM Cinématek, NYC), The Ann Arbor Film Festival is the longest-running independent and experimental film festival in North America. This season the ICA screens two short programs from the Festival. The Digital Program includes award winners in animation (Japan), technical innovation (New York), and experimental cinema (USA/Brazil), while the 16mm Program features selections including notable works from the US and Canada, boasting Jury and the Eileen Maitland awards.
