DANCING LINES

Inspired by the ICA’s exhibition Dance/Draw the film Dancing Lines investigates the intersection of dance and animation, exploring drawing and dance in animated films throughout the 20th century to today. The selection includes films by renowned animators Norman McLaren and Oskar Fischinger; works by Lisze Bechtold, Jules Engel, Len Lye, Kathy Rose, and Erica Russell; as well as New England animators David Ehrlich, Gina Kamentsky, Amy Kravitz, Michael Langan, Karen Aqua, Chip Moore, and Steven Subotnick.
