Additional photography by Jessica Polaniecki.

NEW ENGLAND PREMIER T.H.I.R.S.T. (The HIlarious Incident (of the) Rocket Ship Tent) by Joel Frenzer (3:30, 2011). Dehydrated children get an unexpected surprise when they turn on the school water fountain. Made in conjunction with the New York International Children’s Film Festival, and in just one week with super talented young animators ages 6–12.

Joel Frenzer has worked as both a professional animator and independent artist. Through the Olive Jar Animation Studio and The Animation Cowboys, he’s been involved with several Cartoon Network projects as animator and voice-actor. His independent films have been featured in festivals, workshops, galleries, and on the Web. He is currently a full-time animation instructor at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and co-hosts a monthly comedy podcast about animation called the Frenzer Foreman Animation Forum.
