LITTLE DEATHS by Ruth Lingford

Little Deaths by Ruth Lingford (11:00, 2010) Named the Best Experimental/Abstract Animation at the 2010 Ottawa Film Festival, Little Deaths is an animated exploration of the experience of orgasm.

Born in London, England, Ruth Lingford studied for a Master’s degree in animation at the Royal College of Art after working as an occupational therapist. She has been making short films, teaching, and working on commercial projects since 1992. Since 2006 she has been a Professor of the Practice of Animation at Harvard University and lives in Boston and London.
