EXHIBITION-RELATED PERFORMANCE
THE INFINITE REPETITION OF REVOLT
BY ANDREA GEYER & JOSIAH McELHENY
Blurring the lines between visual art and performance, The Infinite Repetition of Revolt incorporates work on view in Josiah McElheny: Some Pictures of the infinite with a bold oration of texts by 19th-century radical socialist Louis Auguste Blanqui and 20th-century Marxist Rosa Luxemburg.
In this collaborative performance, a local actor presents audiences with an opportunity to reflect on an era much like our own: a time when revolution seemed imminent, rather than optional.
