DJ Heems is a rapper and DJ based in Queens, New York. A member of hip hop outfit Das Racist and founder of the record label Greenhead, Heems seeks to spark a dialogue about race in America, through wry humor and often provocative lyrics. In 2012, he released his first solo mixtape Nehru Jackets.
