ARTIST TALK
Shepard Fairey
From defiant, skateboard-obsessed art student pasting homemade stickers to one of the most influential street artists of our time, Shepard Fairey has developed a multi-faceted artistic practice over twenty years. As the ICA opens the artist's first museum survey, Shepard Fairey: Supply and Demand, Fairey will discuss his work with Susan Dackerman, Carl A. Weyerhaeuser Curator of prints for the Harvard University Art Museums.
Following the talk, Fairey will sign copies of the ICA exhibition catalogue. At the artist’s request, please limit your signing requests to items related to his ICA exhibition Shepard Fairey: Supply and Demand and/or objects of personal value (black books), and to ONE item per person. The book signing is open to talk ticket holders only.
This program is made possible through the generosity of Vivien and Alan Hassenfeld.
