RAÚL GONZALEZ on Barry McGee
Boston-based artists Caleb Neelon and Raúl Gonzalez share their perspectives on the writings and figures often found in the work of Barry McGee. Caleb Neelon regularly writes for national magazines and is the author of several books, among them The History of American Graffiti, co-authored with Roger Gastman. Neelon has led public art works around the world in cities such as Istanbul, São Paulo, San Francisco, and Calcutta. Raúl Gonzalez’s artwork has been featured in numerous exhibitions throughout the US, including the San Francisco Art Institute, The Drawing Center in New York, and Tufts University.
