ICA/AIGA DESIGN SERIES: DESIGN AS SOCIAL AGENT
IN THE GALLERIES
Designer's Eye: Rochelle Seltzer
Hear differing perspectives on Shepard Fairey's work, and see it through the eyes of designers, artists, critics, and curators with gallery talks scheduled throughout the day.
Rochelle founded Seltzer in 1984. Her mission is to build strategically focused brands and outstanding design solutions to meet clients' objectives. Rochelle's business model constrains the firm's size, allowing for extremely personalized engagements with each client. Seltzer focuses on a select group of brand-savvy clients who wish to work collaboratively with senior marketing, design, and brand strategists. She manages the firm, takes the lead on client contact, and serves as Creative Director, overseeing all projects and ensuring the integrity and quality of the firm's design solutions.
Rochelle earned a BFA from Moore College of Art and Design. She is a member of AIGA, serves on the boards of two non-profit organizations and is an active member of The Boston Club. She speaks regularly to business audiences about brand development, effective marketing communications, developing effective websites, and maximizing the web for business success. Seltzer is proud to have been honored with numerous awards and recognition for its work.
