WORKSHOP
BRAZILIAN URBAN ART WORKSHOP
Otávio and Gustavo Pandolfo, the artists who are Os Gemeos, began creating works of art with limited access to formal art supplies. This small setback did not stop them from creating art throughout the city of their native São Paulo. During this workshop, Boston artist Ari Hauben will introduce some unexpected materials used by the twin brothers. Participants will then create their own Os Gemeos–inspired work of art while listening to Brazilian music that continues to influence the artists.
No previous experience required. An additional hour is added for educators, from 12:15 pm to 1:15 pm.
Workshop participants receive a 10% discount at the Water Café on the day of the program. Excludes alcoholic beverages.
Programs for educators are made possible in part by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services.
