Director's Circle Travel Opportunity

ART BASEL MIAMI BEACH 2012

 

OPEN TO ALL DIRECTOR'S CIRCLE MEMBERS

Join the ICA on its annual Director's Circle trip to Art Basel Miami Beach and take advantage of the all the VIP activities around the fair! By traveling with the ICA, you will receive special access to the international art fair and to the unique program of special exhibitions and visits to private art collections. This trip provides Director’s Circle members with unprecedented access to the best of the fair and Miami’s art world. Of course, you will also have time to explore and enjoy South Beach and Miami on your own.

Tuesday, December 4

  • 7:00–9:00 PM
    Attend opening of Bill Viola: Liber Insularum at MOCA Miami 
     
  • 9:30 PM
    Optional dinner at Yardbird Southern Table and Bar

Wednesday, December 5 

  • 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
    Tour Miami's Wynwood Arts District with Adjunct Curator Pedro Alonzo
     
  • 12:00–3:00 PM
    Take in the sights and sounds of South Beach at your leisure
     
  • 3:00–6:00 PM
    Enjoy Art Basel before it opens to the public
     
  • 8:00 PM
    Optional dinner at Fratelli la Bufala

Thursday, December 6 

  • 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
    Private collection tour with Helen Molesworth, Barbara Lee Chief Curator 
  • 1:00 PM
    Head back to Art Basel or choose to visit Pulse or Design Miami
  • 7:00–9:00 PM
    Join ICA friends for drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and the best view in Miami at the Agua Rooftop Solarium at the Delano Hotel

The cost of the trip is $700 per person and includes all of the above activities with the exception of the optional dinners. Detailed information, including full itinerary and passes, will be provided prior to trip. Please note participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and hotel accommodations. Space is limited.

The ICA suggests a $100 donation if you wish to only attend the ICA party at the Delano Hotel.
