An immersive experience that only the ICA could deliver, this evening includes spectacular performances, live music, sumptuous cuisine; fashion, style, and galleries filled with bold works of art. An unforgettable experience is topped off with the ICA’s signature dance party, Party on the Harbor!

This year, your Gala contribution not only supports the ICA’s groundbreaking programming and educational initiatives; all sponsors will be recognized in the breathtaking Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater with a seat engraved in their honor.

Schedule of Events

6:30 PM: COCKTAIL PARTY
Art, performance, music, fashion, and style come together at a cocktail party featuring a Nick Cave Soundsuit performance, violinists Rhett Price and Josh Knowles, fashion by Louis Boston, and style by Salon Mario Russo. View works in the galleris by Barry McGee, Jeffrey Gibson, and James and Audrey Foster Prize finalists.

Nick Cave is a messenger, artist, and educator working between the visual and performing arts through a wide range of media including sculpture, installation, video, sound, and performance. His solo exhibitions have expanded globally from the US to France, Africa, Denmark, Asia, South America, and the Caribbean. He has been described as a Renaissance artist and says of himself, "I have found my middle and now am working toward what I am leaving behind." Cave also works as an Professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and received his MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art, and his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute.

Cave has completed multiple self described "Dream Projects" throughout the US, Europe, and Africa including most recently, HEARD•NY in New York's Grand Central Terminal.

9:30 PM–MIDNIGHT: PARTY ON THE HARBOR
Get your groove on as DJ sensation Solange Knowles spins the ICA's signature dance party. Enjoy cocktails in the Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater created by John Gertsen from Drink, and give in to temptation at our delicious dessert bar under the tent.
