A scholar in anthropocene studies, posthumanism, and ecocriticism, Evander Price will consider how Huma Bhabha’s apocalyptic, cyborg-like figures, simultaneously archaic and futuristic, transcend notions of time and space to articulate contemporary anxieties. A doctoral candidate in American Studies at Harvard University, Price is completing his dissertation  on a new category of monumentality, the “future monuments,” that are created to manifest one’s imagination of the future.
