Cambridge Children’s Choir
Join community partners Boston City Singers (including the Cambridge Children’s Chorus and the World Percussion Ensemble), guest musician Alastair Moock for a day of multimedia art and story presentations, art-making activities, and performances, all for kids and adults together. Today’s performance is at 1pm in the Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater.
Our art making activities are for children and adults to do together. Very young children will need adult support.
Weaving Experiments, 10:30 AM–12:30 PM
Common Room, 1st floor
Join visiting artist Zahirah Nur Truth and try some weaving experiments after journeying to the galleries to find related artworks.
Collage Maker Lab, 11 AM–1 PM and 2–4 PM
Bank of America Art Lab, 1st floor
Join visiting artist Cathy McLaurin and the art lab team to find out more about using color, shapes, symbols and designs to create collages. Share a message for the world in your collage if you choose.
Sketching and Drawing For All Ages, 2–4 PM
Capture the view or draw from your imagination. All tools and materials provided.

In the Galleries
Books and Looks, 10:30–11:30 AM
Small groups share-in readings and discussions led by museum staff related to art and architecture. Best for children ages 3-7 with their caregivers. Sessions are limited in size and ongoing every 20 minutes.
