Learn about the birds inhabiting Mark Dion’s The Library for the Birds of New York/The Library for the Birds of Massachusetts with experienced veterinarian Greg Mertz, who is caring for the zebra finches and canaries in the work during their stay at the ICA. Mertz will resolve curiosities about the creatures and share his expertise acquired from 30 years of working with animals. Mertz is the CEO of the New England Wildlife Center and works as a veterinarian in a clinic he founded in 1995 to provide care for animals ranging from boa constrictors to squirrels.
