Check out the art of performing! Youth and preprofessional apprentices from Boston's Urbanity Dance showcase new work in the Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater at 12:30, followed by an open mic for performers of all ages at 2. Venture into the Sonic Arboretum, then create your own sonic gardens in our Maker Workshop, geared towards kids 3 to 6.

The film tells the little-known story of Martha Hill, a Julliard Dance Division director and visionary who fought against great odds to make contemporary and modern dance a legitimate art form in America. Weaving together archival footage spanning more than 90 years, Miss Hill: Making Dance Matter is a celebration of dance and the passion required to keep it alive.
