Kristie Swink Benson, APR, is the Director of Communications at the High Museum of Art. Benson leads all efforts for Public Relations, Marketing, Creative Services, Guest Relations, and Web/New Media, where she continues to build an exceptional brand that is consistent with growth, inclusivity, collaboration and connectivity. More than a decade ago, Benson started her career in local government and has since been recruited to bring her expertise to the mental health and utilities industries. Benson is member of the 2018 American Express Leadership Academy, the Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Benson earned her accreditation in public relations in June 2015, a prestigious designation given by the Universal Accreditation Board. She also holds a Master of Arts in Public Communication from American University (Washington, D.C.) and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Winston-Salem State University (Winston Salem, NC).
