Verónica Rivera-Negrón (she/her) is a puertorriqueña in the diaspora working as an arts administrator and educator. She currently works at the National Gallery of Art as a gallery teacher of the program Art Around the Corner, as well as with the Smithsonian Latino Center diffusing the results of the Young Ambassadors Program’s impact-study. Rivera-Negrón is a fellow of the Latino Museum Studies Program and the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) Leadership Institute, and currently serves as a member of the Arts Administrators of Color Planning Committee. She has a BA in Journalism and Theatre from the Universidad de Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, and an MFA in Performance as Public Practice from The University of Texas at Austin.
