STL GLD will activate Strange Fruit, a sonic sculpture in the exhibition Kevin Beasley.

The emcee/producer duo STL GLD, made up of Moe Pope and the Arcitype, is heralded as one of the best live acts to come out of Boston. Their sophomore album, Torch Song, was named Album of the Year at the 2017 Boston Music Awards. In 2018, they shared the stage with both Ja Rule and the Roots, as well as being added to the Boston Calling spring lineup alongside Eminem. In July, after a headline show at Brighton Music Hall, STL GLD were crowned Boston’s Best Band by the Improper Bostonian.
