7 Thoughts, the first U.S. museum exhibition of work by the Dutch artist, Marijke van Warmerdam, included four projected film works from the five years prior and a group of installation, sculpture, and printed works. Van Warmerdam’s poetically transfixing images of quietly repeated actions were projected onto freestanding screens and resembled sculptural objects with moving imagery.
