By isolating organic, ephemeral materials such as water, ice, sunlight, and wind within the spatial and architectural parameters of an exhibition space, Olafur Eliasson creates sublime installation that explore the human perception of natural phenomena. In his first major U.S. museum exhibition, Eliasson transformed the ICA’s galleries with a series of installations using water and light.
