Teen Digital Cooperative (TDC) is a paid group of teens from the Boston area that find creative ways to share, honor, and amplify meaningful stories from the communities they belong to and connect with.

This summer, TDC will use photography to connect with works on view at the ICA within the exhibition To My Best Friend. You will see the concepts of friendship, community, and intimacy captured with cameras. You will complete independent and collaborative photography projects exploring these themes. In addition, you will host a photo-based activity at our summer teen night.

In TDC, you can expect to learn the principles of photography in order to create unique, well-composed images. In addition, you will gain skills in order to analyze, discuss, and critique works of art, photographic works, and media.  You can expect to learn how to effectively use industry standard equipment and editing software, and create a story via the images you capture within your respective communities.

Apply by May 1 for the Summer 2026 program.
