Renowned Boston choreographer Anna Myer melds the movements of modern dance with the foundations of hip-hop into fresh and original movements that link a record-spinning DJ to Bach. The varied musical approaches create an emotionally powerful performance that explores both the disconnection and the connection we experience around ever-changing cultural differences in America that are always in motion, stretching boundaries. The company’s nine dancers will be accompanied by a violist and a master DJ from Trend Stream Entertainment to present a world-premiere work.

Free pre-performance talks with Boston Dance Alliance Executive Director Debra Cash 30 minutes prior to curtain in the ICA State Street Corporation Lobby. Free post-performance Q&A with the artists Friday, November 10.
