This edition of the biennial Foster Prize, highlighting work by Boston-area artists, will introduce a new component: a program of intimate, in-gallery Foster Talks in which each artist will engage in a discussion with a figure who has influenced their work. Each talk will address the artist’s work and the creative process.

Jennifer Bornstein will discuss her work on view in the 2017 James and Audrey Foster Prize with Rhea Anastas, critic and Associate Professor of Art, University of California, Irvine.

The 2017 James and Audrey Foster Prize exhibition and Foster Talks are generously endowed by James and Audrey Foster.
