Spend your day off with a contemplative and reflective visit to the ICA (for free!).
Shapes + Patterns, 11 AM–4 PM
Bank of America Art Lab, 1st Floor
The Art Lab is a space for visitors to make hands-on connections to contemporary art on view. Experiment with the possibilities of shapes and patterns using our interactive magnet-wall installation and create your own multimedia collages.
Brooklyn Art Library has the largest collection of sketchbooks in the world and they will be visiting the ICA on October 14th via their Bookmobile! Engage with their collection, learn about the cataloging system, and talk to staff about how to participate in a global art project.
Note: Timed tickets for Yayoi Kusama: LOVE IS CALLING are required and will be available first-come, first-served, in person only, throughout the day during Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Tickets are FREE and will run out; please prepare for the possibility of long wait times.
