See the extraordinary in the ordinary in this interactive installation. Experience scenes of everyday life through the lens of a retro View Master toy. Receive a surprise drawing prompt from a vending machine and use your imagination to turn the ordinary into something entirely new.

Created in collaboration with members of the ICA’s Teen Exhibitions Program and inspired by Derrick Adams: View Master, this playful installation will encourage you to reflect on the meaning, beauty, and wonder in the everyday.

This installation was created in collaboration with ICA Teen Exhibitions Program members Alexandra P., Chanel K., Ciiphus C., Erika M., Henrique V., Jennifer M., Katherine L., Marielys G., Maya D., Mya M., Yenny A., and YingYin H., who worked closely with Teen Programs Manager Aric Crowe-Pina, Teaching Artist Nohemi Rodriguez, Adult Audience Engagement Assistant Manager Eliza Mecklenburg, and Adult Programs and Interpretation Intern Holly Teti to generate ideas, select images, and write reflections featured in this installation.
