The exhibition brought together two series of drawings, One Hundred Modelsand Endless Rejects, along with several of Dumas’s newest drawings. Confronting the viewer with questions of beauty, representation, discrimination and modes of artistic production, the works shed light on the complexities and contradictions involved in the way women have been presented throughout history as models of ideal beauty.
