Each year the ICA hosts fundraising events to support the museum’s exhibitions, performances, and nationally-recognized education programs including the Women’s Luncheon and the ICA Gala. These high-spirited events raise critical funds for the museum and have included performances by musicians Yo-Yo Ma, Andrew Bird, Lou Reed, and Laurie Anderson, dancers Rashaad Newsome and Lil Buck, and the DJ skills of Questlove and Solange Knowles.
