Virginia B. Johnson, costume designer and owner of the Cambridge handicraft studio and shop gather here, shares perspective on works in Less Is a Bore, maximalist art, and its significance for contemporary fiber work.

Using fiber-related supplies, visitors will create their own interpretation of what “less is a bore” means to them. A selection of works made during the event will be shared in the ICA’s Mediatheque and ICA social media.

No experience required. Materials provided. Feel free to bring your own tools!
