About our Graduate Student Lecturers

Aubrey Beam (she/her) is a Graduate Student Lecturer at the ICA, and is currently a student at Tufts University, pursuing a degree in Art History and Museum Studies. Originally from California, Aubrey has worked at a number of art institutions including the Cantor Arts Center, the San Jose Museum of Art, the Djerassi Resident Artists Program, and the Jessica Silverman Gallery. She is currently interested in studying the intersection between art and racial justice for the Black community as well as inter-ethnic representation of Black figures by non-Black artists of color.

Kevin Cervantes (they/them) is a Graduate Student Lecturer at the ICA. They are currently pursuing a degree in Global Contemporary Art at Tufts University. In their research, they explore the artistic production of Latinx Diasporas in Germany. Kevin is dedicated to expanding the reach of art spaces, so they are welcoming and accessible, actively decenter whiteness, are equitable to all and most importantly; better serve and reflect the communities they have historically excluded.

Capacity is limited; pre-registration is required and includes museum entry. Program registration does not include timed entry for LOVE IS CALLING
