ICA Deep Dives: Cybersecurity with Hack*Blossom
Noah Kelley, founder of activist organization Hack*Blossom and creator of the DIY Guide to Feminist Cybersecurity, shares how to protect yourself and your community from predatory surveillance. Kelley will outline threats to cybersecurity including the use of surveillance technologies by police,
cyber-stalking, and the use of big data to better target consumers via “neuromarketing.” Participants will test their new skills for safeguarding privacy and get expert feedback.
ICA Deep Dives is a new series designed to present knowledge on a subject related to a current exhibition. These crash courses by local experts include interactive elements in which participants can apply their new know-how.
