Kids rule the ICA the last Saturday of every month, when the museum fills up with fun, creative, and even zany activities for kids and adults to do together.

Try out your family’s contemporary art sleuthing skills in our galleries with the help of our visiting assistants: how does the art on view connect to your lives? Design and construct small-scale bridges with the help of onsite architects and engineers to guide you, then “test” how your bridges bear weight. And don’t miss a performance by “Bubble Artist” Casey Carle in the Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater at 1:30 PM. Bubblemania is best for children ages 6 and up, and the program will include participation from audience members, laughs, and fun for all ages.
