Free Thursday Nights
Admission is FREE for all every Thursday from 5 to 9 PM during ICA Free Thursday Nights. Advanced tickets are recommended for free days and nights. Tickets for Free Thursday Nights become available at 10 AM the morning of.
Play Dates / Free Admission for Families
When accompanied by kids 12 and under, up to 2 adults per family admitted free the last Saturday of every month except November and December. Use the promo code PLAYDATE when reserving tickets online for these dates. Check out our calendar for more information.
BPS Sundays
Boston Public Schools (BPS) families can visit for free! Each BPS student and up to three adult family members can receive free admission to the ICA on the first two Sundays of every month with a school ID or their personalized BPS email, sent by BPS each week before each month’s program. Use the promo code WELCOMEBPS when reserving tickets online for these dates and check in at the Visitor Services Desk with your ticket and school information.
Card to Culture
We are proud to participate in the Card to Culture program, a collaboration between Mass Cultural Council and the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program, and Massachusetts Health Connector, by broadening accessibility to cultural programming.
