Blanca graduated in 2013 from Pueblo de Los Angles High School. She went on to become a presidential scholar at the San Francisco Art Institute. Blanca’s interests in photography blossomed with her experiences at artworxLA, especially with her participation with  pre-college classes at Art Center’s Saturday High, summer programs at UCLA and Otis College of Art and Design; all of which she received scholarships for. She is actively involved with artworxLA’s alumni-mentorship program. She has interned with GUESS? INC. She served as the Getty Multicultural Intern in artworxLA’s Programming Department in 2014 and returned as the Development and Marketing Intern through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission in 2017. She was also a collaborator and researcher on The Droplet, a traveling art project focused on creating a conversation on the importance of water conservation. This past summer she interned at Native Content, a boutique commercial production company, as part of the inaugural class of Mayor Eric Garcetti’s Evolve Entertainment Fund. She is currently continuing her studies at Glendale Community College, focusing on photography and art history, and  where she serves as the secretary for the art history club.
