Carlos Moreno is a researcher, art historian and arts administrator from Austin. He was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. In 2017, Carlos joined the ICA’s Teen Conference Advisory Council.
Carlos Moreno currently attends the University of Texas at Austin, where he is studying Art History and Arts Administration. He is an alumni of the Artpace Teen Council and 2015 ICA Teen Convening. Carlos has been involved with arts organizations including SITE Santa Fe, Museum of Fine Arts Houston and The Contemporary Austin. He believes that empowering young people through inclusive and accessible arts education is transformative. Carlos’ impactful museum experiences have crafted his enthusiasm and passion for understanding the role of museum education.
