Celeste Cruz is a Dominican-born artist and poet based out of Lawrence, MA. Themes of identity, and of her struggle growing up between two cultures, inform her artwork. Celeste was part of the first ever Creative Mentor cohort in Elevated Thought. She is now the organization’s Art Curator and helps manage their beautification projects across the city. Celeste is in her sophomore year at Northern Essex Community College.
